Four Years, Four Podiums: MM Sailing USA’s Unbroken F18 Streak

Since 2022, MM Sailing USA has been a constant presence on every North American Formula 18 podium. From 3rd place in 2022 to back-to-back victories in 2023 and 2024, and another solid 3rd in 2025, the team led by Charles Froeb and Matthieu Marfaing continues to prove that consistency and determination define true performance. Beyond the medals, it’s about maintaining the drive, the focus, and the passion that keep us at the front of the fleet year after year.

The North American Championship has become more than just a race for us, it’s a test of endurance, precision, and resilience. Each season brings new venues, new competitors, and new challenges, but the mindset remains the same: never give up, never settle.
From light winds to heavy seas, Charles and I have built a partnership rooted in trust and hard work. Every maneuver, every tactical call, every hour of preparation counts. Winning twice in a row was special, but returning once again to the podium in 2025 proved that our foundation is solid.
Behind these results are countless hours of training, travel, and logistics, but also the commitment of our partners and families who share the same passion. The MM Sailing colors have become a symbol of consistency and dedication across North America’s catamaran scene.

Looking back, it’s incredible to realize how far we’ve come since our first event together. From a bronze medal in 2022 to double gold and back on the podium this year, every step has shaped our identity as a team.
